I am running for WVLA Academic Chair for two reasons. First, I would like to become more involved in WVLA and librarianship in West Virginia and secondly, I would like to work to create a more active academic section since I feel we have so much knowledge to share if we all work together. I look forward to joining you in enhancing and building lines of communications between all West Virginia libraries.
Angela Strait - Marshall University Libraries - Angie is the Collection & Resource Management Librarian/Libraries & Online Learning Budget Manager at Marshall University. She also serves on the Finance Committee for HerdCon, Marshall University’s pop culture festival; Nominating Committee for Marshall University Library Faculty Organization; Chair of Physical Facilities & Planning Committee of the Marshall University Faculty Senate Organization. Angie is a member of WVLA, ALA, ALCTS including the Acquisitions & Collection Management sections, and WPWVC-ACRL, currently serving on the Conference Committee. Her past service to WVLA includes Secretary and Awards Committee Chair, as well as membership in several WVLA Roundtable groups.
