National Library Legislative Day 2016

Dear Librarians and Library Enthusiasts,

Please note that National Library Legislative Day is just around the corner. May 2 for briefing and May 3 for legislative office visits. ALA has posted talking points online.

This year we hope to have librarians from each Congressional District. We also hope to produce an individualized fact sheet for each Senator or Representative. Hopefully these will have graphics and highlight the libraries' benefits to our communities.

Please help by sending your information to me at this address. Karen Goff generously offered the assistance of the Library Commission Staff for production.

If you would like to attend, please let me know .

We do have a limited budget to bring librarians to DC.

Thank you,

Jane Levitan
Federal Relations Coordinator
