2020 WVLA Spring Fling

Registration for Spring Fling April 2-3, 2020, has opened.

If you register online, there will be a $5.00 discount.  Early bird registration ends Friday, March 6th.

Please also be aware, if you want to register for the WVLA Membership Early Bird Rates, you must be a paid member by February 28th.

A hotel block under WV Library Association Spring Fling has been set at:

Holiday Inn & Suites Charleston West

Charleston, WV 25303

Check in- 3pm, Check out- 12pm


Room Rate is $99 a night, breakfast is included onsite within this rate.

To guarantee a room in the block, you must book your room by Thursday, March 19th.

***PLEASE NOTE, Shawnee Sports Complex is hosting the Capitol Cup April 4-5.  This will bring 400 soccer teams to the area. Rooms will be booked up to 1 ½ hours away. This may or may not directly effect us, however, to guarantee a place to stay, BOOK ASAP.

Save the date and plan to join your WVLA colleagues for Spring Fling 2020, where we will share ideas and celebrate our libraries as “Palaces for the People.”

The 2 day conference is Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3 at the South Charleston Holiday Inn and Suites .

Thursday evening events will include a library tour/event at the South Charleston Public Library and our new “BYOP” (Bring Your Own Party) gathering at the hotel.

Conference registration opens February 24.
