Hi there,
It was such a pleasure meeting you at the WVLA conference last week, and thank you for taking the time to stop by and meet the dinosaurs! I'm excited about the possibility of bringing Dinoquest Adventures to your library(s) this summer.
I wanted to follow up with something I'm really excited about: we're building a 2027 summer tour through West Virginia and Virginia, and I'd love to see if we can work something out for your library.
Here's how it works. We're grouping libraries by region and visiting each area during a single tour week. We do 2 shows per day (3 if requested), typically late morning and early afternoon, Monday through Thursday (possibly Fridays, depending on demand), so a tour week gives every library in the area a chance to book a date. Because we're already in your area that week, libraries in the same region share the travel costs instead of one library covering them alone, which makes it more affordable for everyone. A tour week is confirmed once it fills up or comes close to full, so expressing interest now helps us lock in your region.
Here is our tentative schedule by region:
- June 7-10: Eastern Panhandle, WV
- June 14-17: Northern Shenandoah Valley, VA
- June 21-24: Botetourt County & Roanoke area, VA
- June 28-July 1: Central Shenandoah Valley, VA
- July 6-9: Northern WV
- July 12-15: Central WV
- July 19-22: Southwest & Central Virginia
- July 26-29: Southern WV
- August 2-5: Greenbrier Valley & Eastern Highlands, WV
- August 9-11: Final tour week with select regional return stops
A few of these weeks are already filling up, so I'd love to get you on the list early.
We'd love to bring something special to your summer reading program, including our new program, Dino Detectives, which was designed with libraries in mind, along with our live dinosaur experiences.
Could you let me know by 10/19/2026:
1. Which week looks like the best fit for your library?
2. Whether any neighboring libraries or branches might want to join you that same week? The more libraries booked in a region, the lower the shared travel cost for everyone.
3. Any dates in that week you'd prefer, or ones to avoid?
If it would help, I'm happy to send over program descriptions, pricing, and a sample schedule for your week. I'm also glad to schedule a quick call.
Thank you again for your time and for all you do for your community. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Please note: This schedule is tentative and subject to change based on interest and availability. Sharing your preferred week indicates interest only and does not constitute a booking or commitment. Once a regional tour week has sufficient participation, I'll work with interested libraries to confirm dates, final pricing, and shared travel costs before anything is finalized.
