WVLA- GODORT has had a reasonably active year as government documents go. We did meet at Fairmont State University in May for a working meeting and to see what the others are doing or have problems with.

The meeting included updates from each person, Christine Chang's report from the national meetings she attended as well as all the great information she provides in general, a program presented by Charley Hively on how Government Documents can help and fits in with the MountainLit project, and working on problems that are unique to Government Documents.

Thanks to Thelma Hutchins and Charley Hively for being such great hosts! All but 5 of the 20 GODORT members were in attendance.

Much of our work actually happens on email so I created a distribution list that I will manage now and in the future for the entire GODORT group.

Anything that needs posting to GODORT specifically can be sent to me. I will forward it to the rest of the group as soon as I receive it.

The GODORT chair person for 2010 was selected. She is Jennifer Zucchero, Librarian at WV State University. It was also decided to have the annual working meeting for 2010 at Fairmont State University again. My mind is rusty but I believe the meeting will be held in June.
